Reset downloaded mods on nexus

I downloaded the 7zip and Boss and was thinking on deleting them from my computer and restarting al over again with just the mods here on steam since that was the only way the game loaded all the way and played.

Boss is a Load order utility which will load your mods in the proper order. Nexus Mod manager allows for the downloading and updating of the mods for which you download from Nexus itself.

I use both programs with no problems at all. Now like as gnewna said in their post you might have some mods for which requires one of the DLCs. Always read through the mods description as it will tell you if there is any other files or a DLC that is required for said mod. I'll try to explain how i install mods. Read up about the mod on the Nexus page. This will save you time in the long run, trust me. Use NexusModManager to download and install mods from the nexus site.

Use BOSS to help with the loadorder and finding problems. Keep in mind that some mods are not recognized yet by this tool. They will end up on the bottom of your load order. You'll still need to give them a place in your load order using commen sence or you might CTD. Using TES5Edit to clean mods that contain dirty files. This will make your game run smoother and save you from possible CTD problems later on.

Keep in mind that we all run into problems. CTD's are common, but we always seem to find a sollution in time. Ooh, and follow gnewna's advice and start watching those Gopher vids on youtube. Your download history is a convenient way for you to find and keep track of all the mods you have downloaded on Nexus Mods, be it via manual download, or via our mod manager Vortex.

To find your download history, simply click on 'Mods' from the main menu of the site, and click "Download history". Alternatively, you can access your download history via your user settings :. When you access your download history for the first time and you have downloaded a lot of mods it might take a while to build.

To put this into perspective, Vortex consumes 3 requests per mod download Nexus Mod Manager currently consumes twice as many per mod download meaning you could, in theory, download up to mods via Vortex or via Nexus Mod Manager before reaching the 2, request limit. After that, you will then be limited to requests per hour around 33 mod downloads per hour via Vortex.

Once you reach this hourly limit, you will be presented with a warning message upon making your st request:. Once you have reached your limit - that is both the 2, request limit per 24h as well as the hourly requests limit - you will be unable to make any more requests such as mod downloads, mod update queries etc. Please note that this measure is in place to protect our server infrastructure and maintain our site's functionality for all our users.
