An inconvenient marriage by ruth ann nordin free download

The writer incorporated contemporary slang and expressions into a period piece. This is a terrible, terrible book. It rambles. It was much too long. The characters are unbelievable and unlikable. The plot is ridiculous. It is supposed to take place in but, there are so many things out of place, it's shocking. I kept reading hoping that the love story would make it all worthwhile but it was a huge letdown. Even their love scene was horribly disappointing.

I honestly can't believe that she's written so many books. No wonder she had to publish her own books. No one else would. Such a wonderful book! They arrange a quick ceremony before he dies, giving Abigail the rights to his Ozark farm and giving Jeremiah the peace of knowing someone will care for his ailing sister after he's gone--a practical solution for both of them. After the war, Abigail fulfills her side of the bargain--until the real Jeremiah Calhoun shows up, injured but definitely alive, and wastes no time in challenging Abigail's story.

Abigail is flummoxed. After months of claiming to be his widow, how can she explain that she's never seen this Jeremiah Calhoun before? How can she convince him that she isn't trying to steal his farm? And will she find a way to stay, even though this practical arrangement has turned into a most inconvenient marriage?

Chad was a one night stand gone bad who insisted they get married, to take care of the child. Will she go back to him or stay in a marriage she always viewed as inconvenient. Chad has been taught from an early age to always do the right thing. What is he meant to do when his wife of nine years appears to have a deep yearning for her high school sweetheart?

Will he be able to let her go, so she could finally be with the one she loves. Instead of fessing up and telling her great aunt what she has done, she goes through with the pretense.
